From the ashes of the eruption of Mount St. Helens on May 18,
1980 the Washington Information Net was born. The net originally
started as a communication net between Amateur Radio stations
affected by the blast. Eventually it turned into mainly a
weather net as it is today. The net meets each morning at 9:30
am and the purpose is to share information useful to it's
members and other amateurs. This is a very informal and friendly
net and all amateur radio operators are welcomed and encouraged
to check in.
Please browse our website and check in to the net when you can.
Thanks for dropping by, 73. |
